"Which of your characters do you relate the most to and why?"

"I think there are aspects of all three of the main characters that I connect with. Kane's jerky persona that hides the sweetheart he truly is a lot like how I was when I started a new school after my dad died. It was easier being hateful and angry to protect myself. Samson's ability to be kind to others and Tavi's strength despite what has happened to her. They are all survivors."

"How do you celebrate your book releases?"

"I have a release party in my group. When I finished the Seasons of the Wolf series, my hubby took me out to a nice lunch. :)"

"What was the hardest scene for you to write?"

"Getting into Kane's mind was difficult at first. But the absolute hardest scene was actually the first time the three of them are physically enjoying each other. I had never written a scene like that before."

"What do you love about being an author? Do you have any favorite memories since becoming one?"

"I love being able to open the door to my imagination and sharing it with the world. One of my favorite memories (no lie) is winning this category as well as taking 2nd in three others for my first reverse harem, Ascension of the Queen. Having people tell me they connect with any of my characters is one of my most favorite things!"

"What is your favorite genre/trope to write? Are there any genres you plan to delve into in the future?"

"Being new to reverse harem, I am really excited about continuing that. I want to write a retelling and I have an idea for a vampire story that is not...run of the mill."
